ABC Blues Form

Previously we covered AAA and AAB blues forms – which are common forms for country blues, rock blues, and various types of jazz blues.
ABC (Bebop) blues form contains no phrase repetition, just one continuous melodic line.
Check out my ABC blues tune based on the concepts we learned together. (You could also see this tune as an improvisation etude)
Level 1: Try to analyze these phrases. In the second part of the video, you can find my analysis, but use that only to compare your analysis to mine.
Level 2: Learn this etude.
Level 3: Try to compose your own ABC blues tune.
