People often ask me if children’s songs kill brain cells, and my answer to that is yes. Your family might even attack you if you play them wrong again and again. You don’t want that to happen. That’s why we developed a new method of learning the piano where music sounds like music from the first Day.

I can create Music!

Spoiler Alert! All the sight-reading exercises are connected to improvisation. This is the month when you realize that you don’t need to wait two years to create music. At Sound of Emotions you can experiment, break the rules, change the melody, or even mashup all the exercises in one big piece and it will sound good.

I can read Sheet Music!

Congratulation! Two months ago you poke a music sheet with a stick because you didn’t know what it is, and look at you now. You are reading bass clef, whole notes, quarter notes, swinging eights notes, awesome blues etudes, while other beginners are still playing children’s songs.

(Writing this text makes me realize, that I have some serious issues with children’s songs.)

I can read Chord Symbols!

Of course, you can. You can not only play chords from chord symbols, but also create smooth voice leading, and accompany yourself. Fun fact. At the end of this course, you will be able to play and have control over 132 types of chord voicings. (Psst, at this point you already know more than some of the piano teachers out there.)

I can Improvise!

We started this project from the first month, but I believe that this is going to be the month when you truly surprise yourself. Your solo piano improvisation is tasty, groovy and bluesy. You can enjoy playing music with your friends, without worrying about music theory. You know enough to improvise freely! Feels good, right?
