Well-Rounded Pianist Membership (Practice Plan: Jazz Piano Bootcamp)

 

3 in 1 Jazz Workout:

  1. We are integrating Bebop Scale Pattern No 1 & 2 to create longer melodic lines over ii-V-I.
  2. We transfer the previously learned 3-note voicings to the left hand so that we are free to improvise with the right hand.
  3. We practice one of the most popular consistent comping rhythm pattern in jazz – The Charleston Rhythm.
